The CAD Operator will be responsible for creating accurate technical drawings and construction plans that support residential and commercial development projects. The ideal candidate should have strong proficiency in AutoCAD, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate with engineers and architects to ensure design accuracy and project success.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed 2D and 3D technical drawings using AutoCAD and other CAD software.
- Convert sketches, concepts, and specifications into accurate engineering drawings.
- Revise and update drawings based on project requirements and design changes.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, and project managers to ensure drawing accuracy.
- Maintain organized records of drawings, revisions, and project documentation.
- Ensure all drawings comply with company standards and industry regulations.
- Assist in preparing layout plans, floor plans, elevations, sections, and construction details.
- Review drawings for errors before project submission.
- Support the engineering team throughout the project lifecycle.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
- Minimum 1ā3 years of experience as a CAD Operator or Draftsman.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD is mandatory; knowledge of Revit, SketchUp, or other design software is an advantage.
- Strong understanding of engineering drawings and construction standards.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet project deadlines.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
